Cakes Plus Catering-Catering Conditions
We offer buffet dinners.
Menu selections should be submitted to us at least two weeks in advance, otherwise items selected cannot be guaranteed.
To assist us in better planning your event, we request your final guarantee of the number of guests to be served 5 days prior to your function. Charges will be based on the guarantee or the actual attendance, whichever is greater. If more people attend than the guarantee, within reason, we will provide the same or comparable meal at the same price per person. (A 3% margin in attendance is customary and within reason.)
We accept cash, personal checks and business checks.
50% of the balance should be paid 30 days before event or at time of booking and the remaining balance to be paid by the day before the event. For Cake Delivery and Set-Up there is a $25 charge within 30 miles. If your order is over $200 then the $25 fee is waived.
We can provide food and beverage services for your catering event. The menus are suggested for your convenience and can be changed to meet your needs. Our meals are served buffet style. Serving time is 1 hour. Included with your meals are: Disposable plates, forks, spoons, knives, salt and pepper, napkins and any other condiments relating to your meal. Linen Service can also be provided for an extra charge.
Additional Charges
Linen napkins $.50 per person
Linen tablecloths are provided for our buffet tables additional Linen tablecloths $10.00 per table
Table skirt rental $25.00 per table
If sit down service is requested servers are $20.00 per hour
Set-up and clean-up of events is provided at no additional charge
An appropriate number of staff members are provided to ensure quality service
Upgraded Disposable Chinaware and Flatware $3.50 per person
Cancellations
10 days before event you are responsible for what has already been purchased by Cakes Plus Catering.
All non-catereing orders require a 50% deposit. Balance is due at time of pick up. If ordered is cancelled customer forfits deposit. Items may be delivered for a fee of $2.00 per pie/item.
Customer takes full responsibility for safe storage and serving of food products upon delivery.
